Leslie E. Christian, CFA
Chief Investment Officer, President
Leslie has more than 30 years experience in the investment field, including nine years in New York as a Director with Salomon Brothers Inc. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and her MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley. Leslie is Chair of the Board of Upstream 21 Corporation and serves on the Board of Directors of Portfolio 21 Investments as well as Plymouth Housing Group in Seattle.
James Madden, CFA
Senior Portfolio Manager
Jim has more than 15 years experience in socially and environmentally responsible investing. He has led several shareholder resolutions with corporations and developed our shareholder activism programs. He received his bachelor's degree and MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
Anthony S. Tursich, CFA
Portfolio Manager
Tony has more than 10 years of experience in the field of investment management. He received his bachelor's degree from Montana State University and his MBA from Portland State University. Tony studied European business at Ecole Superieure de Commerce Marseille-Provence in France.

Indigo Teiwes
Senior Sustainability Research Analyst
Indigo has 7 years of experience managing Portfolio 21's environmental sustainability research program. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business and the Environmental Studies Program. Indigo has worked with the Sierra Club, the University of Oregon's Sustainable Business Symposium, and the Oregon Natural Step Network. She is Chair of the Natural Capital Center's Energy Working Group as well as the Green House Network.
Beth Williamson
Research Analyst
Beth has 4 years of research experience, working for organizations including Green Century Capital Management, Ecopledge, and Oxfam America. She received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and her Master's in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University.
Emily Lethenstrom
Research Analyst
Emily has 5 years of experience in the environmental field and has worked with Oregon Wild and The Greater Flagstaff Forest Partnership. She received her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Politics from Whitman College and her Master's degree in Political Science, with an environmental policy emphasis, from Northern Arizona University.

Carsten Henningsen
Chairman
Carsten has 25 years of experience in socially and environmentally responsible investing and is considered a pioneer in the field. He is a graduate of Stichting Nijenrode, The Netherlands School of Business and the University of Puget Sound. Carsten is a founding director of Portfolio 21 Investments, Upstream 21, and Community Friends. He has served on the boards of The Social Investment Forum, 1000 Friends of Oregon Foundation; the Ecotrust Council; and the City of Portland Sustainable Industries Committee.
Robert Baird
Chief Operating Officer, Investment Advisor
Rob has 25 years of experience in the investment field and he authored one of the first guides to socially responsible investing. He is Chief Operating Officer and a founding director of Portfolio 21 Investments. Rob received a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a Master of Divinity from Duke University. He has served on the boards of REACH Community Development, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon Foundation, and The Social Investment Forum's Community Investing Steering Committee.
June Miller
Client Services Manager
June has more than 20 years experience in client services and operations in the financial industry, including 15 years as an Operations Manager at Prudential Securities and Dain Rauscher. She is a graduate of Portland Community College.

Client Services Manager
Paul has 15 years of experience in the financial industry, including 9 years as a stockbroker with Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. He is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music.
